  • Hardware-oriented security: Fault-injection attacks; hardware realizations of postquantum cryptography; hardware Trojans; physical unclonable functions
  • Robustness: Test methods for nano and microelectronic circuits; defect modeling; power-aware test; test of embedded SRAMs; reliability and functional safety; safety vs. security
  • Emerging architectures: Stochastic circuits and their use in neuromorphic applications; architectures with memristive components; security aspects of emerging architectures
  • Quantum computing: Design and validation of advanced quantum error-correcting schemes (topological QEC)
